Four Kalamazoo men arrested, charged with felony drug crimes

According to federal officials, four men from Kalamazoo, Michigan, planned to buy roughly $22,000 worth of cocaine from a dealer in Texas Township. They were charged with federal conspiracy charges regarding intent to distribute the drugs. While their charges are pending, the alleged conspirators are in the custody of the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Man burned in meth lab explosion expected to be charged

A 52-year-old man from Van Buren County, Michigan, severely burned his hands in a meth lab explosion in his mother's garage earlier this month. This was not the man's first encounter with meth. In 2007, he was sentenced to more than two years in prison for possession of meth.
