Sheriff's department makes three arrests after busting meth lab

A drug bust in Hartford, a little over a half-hour outside Kalamazoo, has led to three arrests. Detectives from Van Buren County Sheriff's Office searched two homes on the same street on the morning of Dec. 12. One of the homes contained a meth lab.

Kalamazoo police looking for two armed robbery suspects

Police in Kalamazoo County are looking for two suspects who allegedly held up a 7-11 on the evening of Dec. 6. Police reportedly believe the same two African-American males who allegedly held up the convenience store may have been involved in two incidents of armed robbery at Western Michigan University.

Traffic stop leads to marijuana bust, possession charge

In western Michigan, just over an hour from Kalamazoo, a man was pulled over by police for driving with no working taillights. After stopping the man, authorities found more than one gram of marijuana and 21 pills inside the vehicle. Police also found a scale, which they claim was used for weighing drugs.

Kalamazoo County man wanted on felony crimes charges

A man is wanted by the police after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and leading police on a high-speed chase throughout Richland Township. He faces charges for the alleged assault as well as charges for stealing a vehicle and eluding police, all of which are felony crimes. Police believe that the 28-year-old suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
